Scientist mindset, product engineer execution.
I am a software engineer who works mostly in the .NET ecosystem. I help companies build and reshape systems through iterative delivery, balancing principled thinking with pragmatic execution.
Before software, I worked in biology and completed a PhD in developmental genetics at the University of Melbourne. I was published in Nature, and that research experience sharpened how I reason about change, uncertainty, and long-term system evolution.
My AI background is not just app integration. I have experience with foundational model development, evaluation, and the engineering needed to bring model-driven systems into production environments.
I care deeply about team performance. Great teams do not happen by accident. They need trust, clear expectations, and a technical culture where people can push each other without burnout.
I am easy to work with but I hold a high bar. I invest heavily in improving my own craft and expect a similar level of engagement from people around me.
If that sounds like your environment, reach out. I am always open to meaningful conversations.
